Student Worker with strong IT and data-management skills for our E-Commerce department

MAN Diesel & Turbo located in Copenhagen is world leading in design, development, test and service of very large diesel engines. You will find our solutions on large ships that sail all over the world.

We need a dynamic student worker in our E-commerce department of PrimeServ CPH, to help us with our daily operation and optimization of the global PrimeServ E-commerce build on an advanced Data Warehouse based on a SQL data base.

PrimeServ is the After Sales department of MAN Diesel & Turbo and the E-Commerce department is responsible for Master data and processes supporting our Spare Parts Sales team in serving our global sales organisation for large scale 2-Stroke engines.

Do you have a strong IT-profile with knowledge about C#, VB (Visual Basic), SQL technologies and an excellent command of English? And are you interested in collecting experience working with a small, ambitious team in a large, international organization?

Then apply for this job where your primary tasks will be to maintain and develop tools for utilising our large volume SQL data base, and to assist in optimizing and building intelligent systems to support our global e-commerce activities.

Your Qualifications:
Bachelor student or a 1st year Master student in the field of Engineering or Computer Science.

• Excellent skills in handling large amounts of data with a demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, VB ( Visual Basic ) and SQL technologies
• Knowledge of a high level in programming language like C# is considered a plus
• Excellent command of English - oral and written
• Passionate and hardworking personality
• A natural eagerness to learn and dive into the commercial/engineering processes and build systems to support these processes 
• A flair for user-friendly design and structure on online portals/tools is an advantage
• You should only apply for this student job, if you are enrolled at a university in the Copenhagen area, and if you are not beyond first Master semester, as we are interested in a longer commitment
