Your challenges
We are looking for a new colleague to join our back office team comprised of eight motivated colleagues. Our team is part of our IT Cluster Scandinavia responsible for local IT support at all VELUX units in Denmark, Oslo and Helsingborg.

Your primary tasks will be daily operation of the local infrastructure, server, storage and services as well as professional customer support to our VELUX colleagues. This will primarily be 2. and partly 3. line support by phone, mail, via remote screen takeover and by direct contact. In addition, you will also be hands-on at IT inquiries and record these in our ticket system.

Besides being part of the continued development of the support and IT infrastructure in a global setup, you will also be involved in projects providing feedback and guidance to users including follow up on new and existing projects.

Further tasks will be to:

  • Ensure progress and take responsibility of your tasks with a customer-focused mind-set
  • Document IT-policies and business procedures
  • Analyse and implement compliance requirements (security and legal) to assure compliance
  • Hands-on tasks operation in server room and on back office systems

Additionally, you could be involved in project management tasks, meaning you will do the follow up and coordination of efforts and deadlines in one or more projects.

Your qualifications
The ideal candidate has some years of experience with IT back office support. Through your previous jobs, you have gained knowledge especially with Fileservers and Print Management both in general and the application ‘Safecom’. Ideally, you have experience with project management and how to ensure project progress and completion.

The role as IT back office supporter demand that your collaboration and communication skills are in top and that you know the importance of sharing knowledge. Proficiency in English both orally and in writing is a must.
