You will be part of the Modularization and Standardization department (M&S) working within the function of Industrialization on a one of the department's main strategies.  

The M&S department is a dynamic team that drives the implementation of modularization and standardization in Vestas.  It is our responsibility to define and lead modularization and standardization activities globally across the organization in order to improve product portfolio and cost performance.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to take an active lead role in Vestas' modularization journey towards a cost efficient and flexible modularized product range. In addition, your responsibilities will include to:

• Actively identify opportunities for modularization together with stakeholders from technical systems and platforms to reduce cost and improve flexibility
• Drive modularization activities together with system leads to evaluate technical concepts, optimize system and component variants as well as interfaces and envelopes
• Keep modularization structures (e.g. variance matrices and market specifications) aligned and updated together with stakeholders
• Provide expert knowledge within modularization guiding and supporting the organization within this field   
• Drive change management and ensure capability building by inspiring and motivating others, and by engaging with key stakeholders on the implementation of modularization.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. Degree in Engineering or similar, preferably mechanical, mechatronic, electrical or electronics
• 5-10 years’ work experience within the areas of modularization, standardization and complexity management

Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of modularization methodologies and best practices
• Track record of implementing modularization initiatives in practice
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong ability to prioritize, resolve issues and drive activities through to completion 
• Change management and self-awareness skills to adopt targeted approaches to a dynamic set of stakeholders

• The primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark.
