Do you have a passion for identifying, developing and implementing business improvements and will you help us increase our competitive advantage by combining technical solutions, process optimisation and financial opportunities?
Join us and become Business Improvement Project Manager in our newly established department. Together with your three colleagues, you will be responsible for proactively seeking and delivering ideas for business improvement opportunities that you realise together with your team and the organisation. You take on the Project Manager role to implement ideas and anchor resulting improvements in the organisation. One of your key areas of expertise is to present complex problems and smart solutions to senior management in a simple and professional way.
The department is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.
You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
Your key duties will be to
- identify unexploited optimisation opportunities
- develop solutions in a project setup together with relevant stakeholders
- implement solutions and make sure they are anchored in business processes
- drive business improvement projects with project management excellence.
Your qualifications and core competences include that you
- hold a master’s degree in engineering, economics, project management, process optimisation, or similar
- have a proven record of achievement in your field, preferably within the energy sector
- thrive in a challenging environment with changing requirements
- speak and write English fluently
- are able to understand the business in a holistic perspective.
Moreover, you have very strong communicative and change management skills. You are able to enjoy yourself working in a hyper complex environment while leading your team and demonstrating project management excellence in all phases. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, and you are empathic, have a high drive, and work strategically and pragmatically.
