For the Service Engineering Blades department, responsible for handling all global service related composite issues in our fleet in operation, we are looking for a competent Composite Engineer. The office is located in Brande, Denmark, and we work closely together with our regional offices around the world. Our new colleague is expected to be able to master technical high level customer interaction, practical field trip planning and drive of material selection and field validation tests, as well as technical feedback and updates to our global Service Engineering Support in the Regions. As we are expected to develop and deliver new, better and faster repair methods, additional trips to the field and working in heights must be expected. As the Turbine Industry is in a massive groth, we expect our new Collague to be selfdriven, a person that takes responcibility and make progress, intellegent and eagert to learn and develop on a professional, as well as personal level.

What are my responsibilities?
Your main tasks will be:

  • Developing and drive solutions and design changes, for composite repair issues on the global fleet of turbines.
  • Upholding a high level of communication with internal and external customers, about ongoing service projects and securing high level technical input.
  • Planning and executing tests and validation of new components in the lab as well as in the field.
  • Participating as the specialist in projects with focus on blade integrity management, material verification, service concept and tools and blade repair access methods.
  • Supporting and driving international Service technology projects within the composite area.

Travel activity of approx. 10-20 days per year must be expected.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have an education as Composite Engineer/Chemical Engineer and minimum 5 years of experience with practical error detection and problem solving. Your past experience has provided you a deep knowledge of different techniques - such as degrees of accuracy, measurement methods, method validation, root cause analyses, data analyses and Six Sigma.
  • You hold a high personal drive and are motivated by delivering well developed quality results in a fast paced environment. Your approach to tasks is systematic, analytical and project-oriented. You do not crumble during pressure and stand your ground when defending your solution. Allways with a focus on delivering the best possible solution within the assigned time and budget.
  • Must be perfect in writing and presenting yourself in English and preferrable also another language like French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabian, Chinese or Thai.
  • You thrive in an international organization and enjoy working with many different stakeholders. In your collaboration with your colleagues you are willing to listen and learn, as well as share thoughts and concerns regarding repair solutions. In addition, you demonstrate good communication and English skills - orally and in writing. Outside the department you are expected to act like an ambassador with a positive "can do" attitude.
  • You master to be Impowered and you can deliver on your tasks, without beeing noted all the time.
