FOSS is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst passionate about data driven problem solving

The job
In FOSS a Supply Chain Analyst supports enhanced customer satisfaction & net working capital, monitoring that voice of customer is reflected in delivering Foss Supply Chain value proposition to customers.

The Supply Chain Analyst contribute through data analysis, KPI reports and project management related to global production planning, distribution and inventory management with the purpose of monitoring performance and optimizing end to end flows globally. The analyst will provide vital input to continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain strategy plans.

A real hands-on mentality will be required to reconcile data balancing service, cost and inventories.

Primary tasks
The Supply Chain Analyst has following operational tasks:

  • Support KPI board update, extract and analyse data and generate reports, scorecards and metrics of supply chain and operations
  • Monitor deviations, identify root causes, and counter measures. Propose and implement action plans based on data driven problem solving using PDCA method
  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve service delivery and flows of materials
  • Support of roll out of shipping / service tools globally
  • Balancing service & stock Levels
  • Maintain material & system settings like service and inventory parameters (zoning, LT, cut–off times, order sizes, Kanban size, reorder points, safety stocks etc.)
  • Inventory alignment across entities
  • Monitor dead stock and clean up inventories (scrapping
  • Inventory management including analysis and adherence to business rules:
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify and recommend improvement of business processes for supply chain and operations planning management

Active participation in larger projects, as well as being able to manage own projects:

  • Improve performance management tools and operational KPI’s
  • Improve SAP workflow and implement IT tools supporting processes
  • Improve, document and implement business processes
  • Participate in optimizing global flows across functional areas with emphasis on planning processes and system interfaces

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with 1-3 years, experience / understanding of logistics and supply chain management, however newly graduates will be considered:

  • BSc or equivalent level within Production, Supply Chain or Logistics discipline. I.e. HD SCM, Diplom Ingeniør or Cand.Merc.SCM.

Following qualifications are considered and advantage, but not a must:

  • ERP knowledge - working with queries and data extraction from SAP
  • Knowledge of building and maintaining BI reports

  • Executing well and within deadlines in a very busy environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills
  • High level of written and spoken English and Danish. Other languages are an advantage
