Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and forward thinking Embedded Software Engineer to further strengthen our R&D group. As an Embedded Software Engineer at INVISIO, you will work in cross functional project groups that takes the development task from product definition to market introduction and as such you can influence all aspects of the product. You will be responsible for the development of micro controller firmware to our portable audio products and work on all levels from SW architecture to coding details. The job includes all facets of product development such as specification, design, coding, testing, documentation and maintenance.

Technical Skills and Competencies
You may have a few years of experience with coding for portable devices and you may have an interest in audio systems. To succeed in the job, you hold an Engineering degree in Embedded SW development or equivalent. Furthermore, you:

  • Have broad skillset in embedded micro controller firmware design and coding
  • Have worked with uControllers such as ARM and PIC 
  • Have experience in C programming for embedded systems 
  • Have some HW understanding and have used Logic-analyzer, oscilloscope, multimeter etc. 
  • May have participated in the development of low power battery operated devices
  • May have worked with audio products and interfaces to DSP systems
  • May have experience in systems running real time operating system and Linux 
  • May have experience with development of USB, Wireless (BT, Wifi, ..), VOIP and  TCP/IP
  • May have used version control systems such as GIT
  • Have excellent skills in oral and written English
  • Can understand Scandinavian languages (useful)
