In SPX FLOW Danmark, Soeborg, we are looking for a Head of Project Management to lead our PM department and help drive our strategy to obtain better products, better processes and better customer support.
A great opportunity to work on projects of all sizes from single plant and equipment to fully engineered process lines. You will be responsible for;
- Coordinating effectively the activities of a team of multi-disciplined engineers, equipment suppliers and service providers.
- Ensuring the scope is effectively managed, as required in accordance with stakeholders/sponsor’s contractual agreement and internal business processes.
- Ensuring a proper and effective financial control of the projects to meet SPX financial control requirements, project deliverables and budget.
- Minimizing any adverse impact on project costs and deliverables.
- Daily leadership of 4 project managers
- Organize and manage Project reviews and would be responsible for the budget in the complete project portfolio including monthly forecasts
- Expected travelling 30-50 days per year
Our new Head of Project Management will have all or several of the below competences
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience is preferred, but the right profile background and interest in evaporation and drying will be offered relevant in-house training
- Professional project management qualification is desirable but not essential
- Extensive and proven project and/or implementation management experience across Engineering, Procurement and Construction / Commissioning
- Proven experience as a Team Leader
- Customer focused
- Experience working with remote teams is highly desirable
- Experience working on international projects is desirable
- Proven experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management Tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) is an advantage
- Be able to handle multiple tasks effectively whilst maintaining clear vision of priorities
- Ability to communicate and cooperate in groups with large diversity of skills
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- Able and willing to work globally
