Do you have strong experience in instrument development projects? Are you proficient in all phases of development, from system design to market launch? And do you have a strong technical background and a desire to work in a world leading and innovative Danish company?

One of our skilled Project Managers has transferred to another department, leaving an open position in R&D Instrument Development. We are therefore looking for a new experienced Project Manager with the desire to make a difference and help us deliver successful projects on time and budget.

The job
We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for new instrument projects of high technical complexity within the area of Food Analysis. In Instrument Development, we drive the projects from concept to launch and our project teams consist of a variety of skilled technical personnel within many different areas such as Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Software, Chemistry, Micro Biology, Optics etc., as well as cross functional team members from Sales and Marketing, Production, Logistics, Service etc., and it is your task to coordinate them all and ensure results. That takes something extra. It is challenging and fun, and requires a person who can manage and drive projects with agility and a focus on execution. Maybe that person is you?

As a Project Manager you will focus on instrument development projects with a typical life time of 12-24 months. These projects will be a mix of smaller development projects as well as high complexity projects, and all projects will be focusing on high quality and innovative solutions. You will lead both small and large teams and you will typically be working on 1-2 projects in parallel.

Qualifications
In order to succeed in the job, you must be technically well-grounded with a scientific master in Mechanics, Electronics, Physics or another relevant field. You have solid experience as a project manager for instrument projects, and a proven track record with most or all project phases from system design to market launch.

It is also important that you have experience with cross-functional team work with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Service and Production. It will be an advantage if you have experience with production maturation, COGS optimization and commercial launch of new products.

It is a requirement to have a Danish work permit.

Personal skills
You are able to deal with different stakeholders and people enjoy working with you, because you have a positive mindset even when you are challenged and deadlines are tight. As you will be leading cross functional project teams, it is important that you are good at working with people with different skills and mindsets. Organizational skills, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to execute are critical.

You are able to meet deadlines and you thrive with the complex task of finding the optimal solutions for the projects while focusing on the customer. Because of the nature of the projects, it is important that you adopt an agile and execution focused approach to running the projects.

We offer
We offer a challenging job in an international and innovative company that is a world leader in its field. You will be a part of the R&D Instrument Development team, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference and help us deliver successful projects.

At FOSS, we put the employees and the quality of cooperation highly and you will have good opportunities to develop professionally and personally.
