Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations, Bagsværd
We are looking for an experienced people manager to head up our Supply Chain Operation department in Bagsværd. Your primary task will be to ensure that we have motivated employees working in an environment that constantly strive to serve our customers in the most optimal way. Supply Chain Operations in Bagsværd has approximately 90 employees, and together with them you will be responsible for operating our Danish warehouses, as well as formulation and tapping of solid products.
You will be responsible for the final process steps before our goods are shipped to our customers, and it is therefore important that the department is nurturing a high quality customer centric mindset, and that all procedures and equipment are well-functioning.
You will be part of the Supply Chain Operations EMEA management team along with two senior managers for respectively Customer Service and Liquid Formulation as well as a manager for our Biologicals Business in France, and a quality specialist. Together with this team you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous development of quality and efficiency of the supply chain activities in the EMEA region.
In this position you need to:
- Hold a relevant degree within Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar
- Be an experienced people manager who preferably has been leader of leaders
- Have experience with Warehouse Management and/or Operations
- Have experience with Lean - especially shop floor management
- Have experience in managing different employee groups - blue/white collar
- Have good communication skills in Danish and English
- Be a dynamic, committed and outgoing person
- Be good at providing overview and setting direction
