Would you like to help build up a new PLM process structure and ensure that operations are running smoothly when implemented? Moreover, do you take pride in continuously improving processes that can help support the business? Then this position might be the next step in your career.

Your challenges
You will be a part of the Product lifecycle management department, whose main purpose is to ensure more efficient cooperation and accuracy when developing new products. We have a holistic approach and embrace all parts of product development in uniform global PLM processes. You will report directly to the manager of the PLM department.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Help build up the PLM E2E process landscape and secure and control continually improvements
  • Ensure alignment with the business and Stage-Gate processes and local process owners
  • Deliver service and maintain operations after implementation.

We work in cross-functional project teams with stakeholders from all parts of the VELUX Group as well as external partners, so the position requires that you communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.

Your qualifications
We expect you to have a degree within process engineering or IT architecture and five years’ experience from a similar PLM position. It is an advantage if you have worked within the construction or building industry and have knowledge of PTC Windchill and Solidworks. Your strong point is your high interest in PLM, LEAN and developing and improving processes within and around PLM.

You have a structured and analytical approach to task solving, and you take great pride in being thorough and detail oriented in your work. You can also see the big picture and different aspects of the various groups in the cross-functional teamwork.

On a personal level you are open minded, flexible and have a healthy sense of humor. You have the ability to take responsibility to make sure we deliver high quality in all solutions.

You communicate and collaborate easily with the people around you – both internally and externally from various cultures - and you acknowledge that the foundation of successful teamwork is based on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
