Your challenges
You will join our global competence centre, where you will work closely together with 25 colleagues in an international and dynamic environment. We support and provide “best in class” logistics solutions to all our markets and always ensure delivery at the right place, at the right time.

Being responsible for your own markets/countries, you will gain knowledge about the entire logistics process. We want you to think out of the box and identify, design, develop and implement new and exciting solutions to pave the way for the success of the organisation.

Your main tasks will include to:

• Have the overall responsibility for the logistics process (from production to distribution) for 1 - 2 markets
• Have the overall responsibility for the logistics process (from production to consumer) for 1 - 2 markets
• Analyse and create forecast on your market stocks
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries and optimal inventory management
• Identify and analyse possible opportunities to change and optimise the logistic process and inventory management
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Participate in projects to influence the development of operational processes, LEAN set-up and IT optimising projects

Your qualifications
You probably hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics or business administration or have an engineering degree and relevant experience from a student job or a position after finalising your education. Most importantly is your ability to manage complex processes, to see the big picture and your keen interest in understanding the day-to-day operational tasks.

As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our organisation, it is important that you have an open and forthcoming manner, a global mind-set and that you truly enjoy building cross-border relations across various organisational and professional levels. In addition, strong communication and collaboration skills are imperative.

As a person, you thrive on having a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable workday handling different kinds of problems. You have a practical and analytical approach to task solving, and you take pride in being thorough and detail-oriented in your work - always with a focus on how to create value for the customer and the business.

The position requires that you communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing. It will be a plus if you have experience with SAP R/3 and are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and other relevant IT tools.
