The job
Stibo Systems has recently launched a new cloud innovation lab specializing in innovative applications for Master Data Management offered as a service - in the cloud. The applications are built from scratch using the latest technologies, and Stibo Systems is looking for a Java Developer who wants to join the team.

You will help the company build multi-tenant cloud-based applications based on a micro service architecture with a NoSQL back-end deployed using Docker in Amazon AWS. Continuous delivery and DevOps best practices are used to ensure a fast and agile go-to-market process. Since a lot of focus is placed on providing a great user experience, the team also consists of UX and graphical design specialists.

The goal is to enable users to work with large amounts of data by making intelligent suggestions based on analysis of data and actions performed by other users.

As Stibo Systems’ new Java Software Developer you will focus on developing back-end micro-service architecture to yield a scalable solution. Ideally, you will also be participating in minor assignments in the front-end or with the deployment.

Your profile
We expect that you have solid experience with Java and development of server-based software. Experience with some of the company’s other technologies will be an advantage, e.g. Riak (or other NoSQL databases), Solr, Zuul, Eureka, Swagger, Spring, Falcor and Angular.JS.

The cloud innovation lab continually evaluates new technologies and hopes that you will contribute with new ideas and inspiration for extending and enhancing the company’s architecture and technology. Hopefully, you thrive in an innovative environment and have a natural interest in keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest technologies.

You probably have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or similar, and you speak and write English well.
