We are looking for a new colleague who would like to take up this exciting and challenging position as IT business analyst / junior project manager. The right candidate may be given the opportunity to be both project manager and resource for a project within a short period.
Your challenges
As IT business analyst / junior project manager, you will join the VELUX IT Business Partnering team in delivering and supporting IT systems that provide the VELUX Group with a competitive advantage by improving productivity and effectiveness of our sales companies around the world.
From day one, you will join two projects - the first project is looking into digitalising further our online services in the after sales area. The IT solution is nearly finalised and ready to roll out to 10-15 countries.
The second project is a roll out of an Omni-channel solution to increase knowledge of our customers and help our call centers around the world to be even more productive when answering phone calls, emails, handling web chats, web self-service solutions etc.
You will be responsible for specific deliverables from the two projects. In particular, you will be in charge of coordinating tasks and communications between external IT consultants, other VELUX IT colleagues and VELUX sales companies.
The position is located at the VELUX Group´s headquarters in Hørsholm north of Copenhagen but with frequent travelling to different sales companies. Therefore, it is important that you have the availability and are flexible to travel 20-40 days a year.
Fluency in English - both orally and in writing - is a prerequisite
Your qualifications
We expect you to have a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or IT, and that you have a deep and proven interest in IT and its application to a business environment. In addition, you have 1-2 years’ experience working with large corporations - possibly handling IT-related tasks.
On a personal level, you have the desire to move things forward, getting your energy from achieving goals. You work in a structured way that allows you to manage parallel deadlines of multiple tasks. You are self-driven, ambitious and you are capable of learning new technologies and business processes faster than most.
You excel in communication and stakeholder management making you able to build long-lasting relationships with all parties involved. As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our organization, excellent interpersonal skills are imperative.
