SUPPORT Consultant for Service Desk IT support

Would you like to support our IT users in a busy working environment together with a dynamic support team? 
 
Join us and become Support Consultant in our IT Service Desk. We are some 50 colleagues that conduct incident management across IT, first- and second-line IT and onsite support, user administration, procurement and asset management regarding IT user equipment. 
 
The department is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group IT, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. 
 
You will be based at our office in Skærbæk near to Fredericia. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. 
 
Your key duties will be to 

  • provide walk-in Hardware support for our users at the desk and at their workplace for both Danish and International users 
  • solve first- and second-level incidents and service requests from our service management systems 
  • secure a high level of user satisfaction through customer orientation and service mind-set.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

  • have a relevant IT technical degree, eg, IT supporter, data technician or a similar education 
  • have experience working with Onsite support in a large organisation 
  • are technically minded and used to providing technical support regarding PC and mobile phones 
  • have knowledge and experience working with support of MS AD, MS exchange, MS office, Windows 8 and Citrix/VPN 
  • have a robust profile and are able to work independently, as it is part of your job to support users in our decentralised locations on your own. 

You must have driver’s license for a passenger car, category A. You need to be service-minded, but with a decisive approach. You must be good at cooperating and network easily with users and colleagues. You have a flexible approach and welcome changes in a busy working day with many different challenges that need to be prioritised and solved. 
 
As we operate in a highly international environment, it is essential that you speak and write Danish and English fluently.
