BEKEY seeks a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer 

The SmartHome market is still in its early stages, but we expect it to be a technical revolution with the same impact as the mobile phone – every house will have it and we want to be the company that delivers it.
 
There are many upcoming smart lock manufacturers, but none of them have as proven a case as BEKEY. 50% of the front doors in Copenhagen use our solution, and we are represented in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the US. 
 
We are ambitious, have conquered northern Europe and are now ready to take on the US and Japan with our products. Will you join us?
Are you a self-driven Embedded Software Engineer with a high degree of knowledge in battery-powered wireless systems? Your work tasks
Your work tasks will include improvement and development of the embedded software in our products, which is needed in order to achieve exceptional user experiences. Specifically, you will be responsible for all development phases from planning to implementation and release test.

You will be part of a small R&D team, whom you will especially have a close collaboration with. The position requires primarily cooperation with internal partners, but there may also be external relations.

The environment is an innovative one, where everything moves quickly; therefore you must be able and willing to work on solutions by yourself as well as with colleagues.  You thrive with and are able to once in a while handle short-term deadlines.
 
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly skilled embedded SW engineer, who has strong experience and knowledge within interfaces between SW and HW. The candidate must likewise have demonstrable experience with low-power wireless protocol interfaces. You know how to incorporate, develop and update security measures on wireless systems. Bluetooth system understanding is an advantage.
 
You are comfortable with gaining new knowledge, working independently, co-operating with different professions and sharing your findings with your colleagues. You are also dedicated in collaboration with partners in an innovative and inspiring environment where no day is the same.
 
Your professional competencies
We expect you to:

• Hold a relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering.
• Have solid experience with C/C++ programming.
• Have minimum 2 years of experience working with embedded software in all phases, including analysis, design, implementation and release test.
• Have work experience with lowpower wireless technologies and security in wireless systems.
• Have a systematic approach to problem solving, documentation and testing.
• Experience with Java development is a plus.
