Management of European and Danish R&D projects
Our Transport and Electrical Systems centre has been awarded several large European and national R&D projects; hence we are looking for an experienced project manager to lead these projects. You will be a part of an innovative team with ambitious scientists, engineers, and specialists, and your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Maintaining relations with project partners and project officers at both Danish and EU funding programs
  • Financial management of R&D projects and economic reporting in close cooperation with our financial department
  • Keeping track of technical and scientific progress incl. internal communications and follow up on project tasks, audits, milestones, and deliverables
  • Dissemination of activities in relation to R&D projects
  • Involvement in the application process of new R&D projects

You will play an active role across the different areas of work in the centre and engage with many different disciplines and personalities. You are a structured team player and can quickly understand new areas of technology and the business cases underpinning the research. The job will require limited travel activity mainly in Europe for meetings with project partners and EU Commission representatives.

Project manager with strong personal and project management skills
You have a relevant academic degree in science or technology at master’s level or equivalent.

Your project management skills are strong and effective, and you have a proven track record of working with a wide variety of different people. You are a results-driven organizer with a keen eye for detail and act as a role model for those around you, both internally and externally.

You are an open-minded team player who knows the importance of strengthening your colleagues and customers through daily cooperation. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator in both Danish and English.

Previous experience and knowledge of EU research projects (e.g. H2020, Eurostars), contracts, and consultancy experience will be considered an advantage.
