Danish Technological Institute is searching for a Specialist/Senior Specialist for Nano Production and Micro Analysis
Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup is searching for a new colleague who wants to be at the edge of innovation and bring beyond state-of-the art nanomaterials, formulations, and digital thin film manufacturing technologies to the European industry. You will be a key player in developing and driving our technologies within nanomaterials and digital manufacturing processes for embedded and printed electronics.

Danish Technological Institute is leading a European consortium, aimed at building a sustainable commercial service that will support European industry with services and pilot lines within embedded and printed electronics. DTI’s part is developing and producing novel nanomaterials, nano-enabled inks and digital ink-jet based production of embedded and printed electronics.

You will have a role in developing electronic components using our state of the art ink-jet printing pilot line.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • System design consisting of electronics, sensors, and energy sub-components
  • Sensor design and fabrication
  • Electronics design and fabrication
  • RFID wireless communication, antenna design, fabrication, and testing, both HF and UHF

You will get a challenging job in a varied and diverse environment where you will be part of the electronics and sensor development team.  You will work with engineers and chemists across the entire value chain from materials to printed components in both government-funded and direct industrial commercial projects.

Experience with electronics
You have a master’s degree, perhaps also a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. You have experience in electronics, sensors and RFID antenna design and testing. You enjoy developing new ideas and initiatives, both individually and in teams.  

Nano Production and Micro Analysis
You will join a team of 30 people in Nano Production and Micro Analysis who work on projects within energy systems, catalysis, and printed electronics. Additionally, we solve micro analytical tasks for commercial customers.

We are an international team of primarily chemists and physicists and we collaborate with both universities and international companies. We value professional competences and social interaction.
