Cobham SATCOM is looking for an experienced Export Compliance & Commercial Officer. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for running and supporting all aspects of export compliance across the Cobham SATCOM sites and for driving the agent/intermediary process.

There is also potential to develop and support other contracts and commercial activities.

This role is based in Kongens Lyngby, Copenhagen.

As an Export Compliance & Commercial Officer your key skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Experience of export compliance in Denmark, Europe and the US
Experience of dual use control regulations
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English
Working experience with contract drafting and negotiations (not a need to be legally qualified)
Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Process development and management skills and able to control a portfolio of activities
ITAR knowledge and experience would be beneficial

As an Export Compliance & Commercial Officer your main responsibilities will involve:

Ensuring compliance with the overall Cobham corporate export requirements and support all escalations and approvals processes
Proactively set out export compliance strategies and execution plans driving export compliance into all the legal entities within Cobham SATCOM
Managing and applying for all export licenses alongside with SATCOM employees
Relationship building with the Danish Business Authorities and regulatory bodies
Working closely with the Cobham group and support group-wide export processes
Manage the commercial and contracting requirements of the groups intermediary process and policy
Negotiation and closure of intermediary agreements
Supporting other commercial activities within the Contracts and Commercial function
