Global Supply Coordinator, Food and Beverage, Supply Operations, Bagsværd, DK
Supply Coordinators in Novozymes are overall responsible for globally coordinating and prioritizing the supply of our products. You build holistic overviews of our supply chain and through coordination between functions and regions, you are critical in ensuring a smooth supply chain and product supply. In the role, you further develop an overview of customers, quality and cost, and set direction for customer supply within the Food and Beverage (F&B) division.
You support the operational Supply Chain and Planning organization with coordination and prioritization of supply issues in case of shortages, support and drive the way our supply chain is designed. E.g. you will make risk assessments and contingency planning on launches and site shifts, and you handle requests of new products and packaging from commercial functions. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to set new strategic direction for supply aspects within the F&B industry bridging commercial needs and operational options.

As Supply Coordinator you are the supply chain representative in various cross-functional teams, such as the Industry Product Groups’ governing of the entire existing portfolio of products, and in development and launch of new products. You will have broad contact with many essential areas within Novozymes, e.g. Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, Development, Quality, and directly with customers in several regions.
You will be part of an energetic and dynamic team of 2 Product Coordinators and 2 Global Supply Coordinators within F&B. The position is considered a talent development position because of its extensive interfaces and the nature of the tasks. It is expected that you will stay 3-5 years in this role, and then move on to other challenges in Novozymes.

In this position you need to have:

  • A Master’s degree within a relevant area (supply chain, science, engineering, or business)
  • Several years of experience with a strong understanding of supply chain, business and production processes
  • Strong leadership potential and be ambitious
  • Demonstrated an ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment, both independently, and as a member of multiple cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills - demonstrated across disciplines and functions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to talk to people at many different levels both internally in Novozymes and externally with customers
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbally and in writing
