Responsibilities / Tasks

GEA is looking for an ERP Business Consultant to join our global Business Relationship Management team. 

The ERP Business Consultant will be dedicated to the Supply Chain Domain within the roll out projects and support of our global ERP templates. There are different ERP systems that GEA is currently running on mainly based on SAP and AXAPTA but also with other local and global ERP systems. Overall aim for the long term future is to implement one ERP system (based on SAP S/4 Hana) for all companies in GEA.

The ERP Consultant will be working in Supply Chain Domain team, focusing on SAP ERP within one or more areas from Purchasing, Production, Logistics Execution modules and the primarily responsibility will be to:

  • Support the business, and be the primary point of contact in terms of addressing their business application needs within IT
  • Drive and deliver end-to-end activities and ERP solution (based on SAP) for implementation and roll-out projects
  • Proactively ensure that the ERP solution and progression is consistent with solutions in other tracks
  • Carry out best practice project documentation related to own track
  • Supporting the different business applications (based on area of expertise) and resolving incidents/change requests within the agreed SLAs.
  • Managing escalations as per the process and coordinate between different stakeholders and team members

Your Profile / Qualifications

Required Experience

  • First-hand experience in end to end SAP implementation and roll-out projects as part of a dedicated project organization or from a consultancy firm
  • In-Depth consulting and configuration experience in SAP, including integrations with other domains
  • Experiences working with one or more implementation methodologies
  • Experiences from engineering and/or manufacturing industries is a plus
  • Supporting IT applications and handling business communication

Personal skills

  • Ability to quickly grasp and learn the specifics of a business and at times contribute to designing efficient processes
  • Excellent intercultural communication skills
  • Good understanding of task and project management aspects
  • Adept at communicating and presenting in English
  • Proactive and responsible nature
  • Open to learn new technologies and contribute in multiple systems/process areas.

Formal education

  • Relevant business or technical higher education

It would be considered an advantage if you have

  • Knowledge of S/4 Hana and/or new age cloud applications like Ariba
  • Business Process knowledge and ERP implementation experience from EPC industries
  • Experience in setting up interfaces between different ERP and non-ERP systems

Other Information
Expected travel is to the tune of 20-50 days in a year depending on the projects assigned and the location.

We are primarily looking for a suitable candidate in Søborg Denmark, however, we are also open to consider locations S-Hertogenbosch in Netherlands and Vadodara in India. We expect that applicants hold valid work and residence permit for the locations where they would be based.
