Do you want to play a vital role in how we support our operating wind farms in the drivetrain area, and take it to the next level? 
 
Join us and become Drivetrain Specialist in Fleet Support where you’ll be responsible for supporting our existing, and growing fleet of Offshore wind turbines primarily across Europe. 
 
As Drivetrain Specialist you’ll drive and develop inspection methods, ensure new failure modes are captured and give input to ‘remaining lifetime calculations’ on defect components. You’ll also develop and review drivetrain inspection reports.  
 
Your key tasks will be to 

  • drive various improvement projects within the drivetrain area, both on legacy fleet and new turbines 
  • support our fleet diagnostics team in all technical areas of drivetrain vibration monitoring and trending 
  • engage, participate and collaborate with OEM’s and supplier on failure modes and root cause analysis 
  • support in the creation and evaluation of technical changes, retrofits 
  • support Operations with technical advice and troubleshooting related to the drivetrain.  

You’ll also develop, improve and implement new inspection methodologies, both on legacy and new platforms. In addition, you’ll serve as the link between back office and technicians in the field. 
 
Your competences include that you 

  • have a degree in engineering or similar 
  • have extensive experience with working in a WTG, including the drivetrain area, preferably offshore 
  • have a systemic approach to problem-solving 
  • speak and write English fluently 
  • thrive in an international environment and are able to build effective relationships with your stakeholders.  

You also have some project management experience and are comfortable and capable presenting technical conclusions to all levels in the organisation.
