We're calling to all you UX design interns with fire in your belly and ideas running through your heads. At Vibrantly we believe in raw talent. That's why this internship is conducted with the intention to hire you for a full time position once you're finished studying. Come along on your own or bring your entire study group - we're open to hear all your ideas. And we promise that if you bring us your passion and drive, we'll do something with that to set you off on your career!

Our mission is to democratize payments. Transactional terminals are long overdue for an update. They served us well, but they've had their time. Now, our new way of living calls for a new way of paying, with cashless transactions. Handled through a simple app that reduces the cost and hassle to both the merchant and the customers.

We are looking for 1-4 UX Designers to join our close-knit collective of diverse thinkers and doers. Here, you’ll use your gifts for problem solving and creativity to apply into the research and design of developing a stellar payment app.

The internship will fortify you with invaluable experience in terms of how a product and brand is analysed, visualised and developed. This way we ensure that you get to be part of the

entire process; from users' feedback to the conceptualisation of solutions with our engineers and head of design.

We don’t play safe. We pioneer solutions that have never been done before, while collaborating with our beloved customers and partners.

Your responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the team
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
  • Develop UI mockups/wireframes and prototypes
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct feature adjustments based on user feedback
  • Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis
  • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
  • Conduct usability testing

In the mirror you see

  • A raw talent who is curious by nature
  • A person with a lot of crazy ideas
  • A desire to get your hands dirty in real-work.
  • A need for a rockstar mentor - we’ll make sure you have a mentor
  • The passion to creating an amazing workplace

We have many exciting projects in the pipelines. And even though we have lots to do, we have fun, help each other out, and are not afraid to try out new things. We’ve got great jobs for people just starting out in the workforce.

Start date: When you are available and ready to kick a.. 4-6 months internship is expected

Office perks: Bad jokes, gallons of coffee, professional chef (we eat like a michelin restaurant), soda

We know our website doesn't say much about us - yet! We are currently building the technology, and we will launch in Q1, 2021. We are going to be around 12-15 people in February and will be scaling the team.

Does this appeal to you and your aspirations, desires and inner craziness? If you are committed to not only transforming the world with the products you create, but also being a valued citizen to our growing global team, you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.

About Vibrantly

Vibrantly is a newly established company. We are venture backed with solid foundations, which allow us the freedom and time to build the product we all want to use. Our vision is to serve customers in emerging markets where around 90% of transactions are done using cash. This leaves both traders and buyers vulnerable, with many question marks over how goods are being bought and sold. Cashless payments can pave the way for a more democratic system, allowing trust to be built on both sides of the counter. That’s what our team here at Vibrantly is all about - developing technologies for a world we wish to live in. That starts with building our company culture around a team we want to be in. Join us!
