Do you want to support our endevours? We are looking for an experienced Test Solutions Developer, to join our fast growing Innovation Center in Denmark. You will take on an exciting and technically challenging position within our R&D test team.

The job
The R&D test team is a central part of the R&D Services organisation with a vison to develop, maintain and support the organization with high quality state of the art production test equipment. You will be working in an interesting and interdisciplinary department with 14 specialists within the fields of test solutions, electronics, software, mechanics, optics, laser, X-ray and chemistry.

In this position, you will be part of our R&D test team that in close co-operation with our product programs analyze, define, design, implement and test the next generations of components and instruments.

Together with the test team, you will be involved in R&D projects, getting the needed deliveries to/from our team and passing the different gates in the FOSS new product development process.

Primary task
As Test Solutions Developer, your primary focus will be implementing test for our new generations of products. You will use your technical and personal skills to analyze, define, implement, test and release new versions of test solutions based on NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW.

Qualifications
We imagine you hold a relevant degree, for example as Electronic Engineer, Software Engineer or similar with minimum 3 year’s experience within production test solutions.

This job requires relevant work experience from similar R&D companies within production test software and hardware.

Experience with building production test solution with NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW is a prerequisite (developer level) for this position. We are enhancing our Agile development processes (SAFe/SCRUM/KANBAN) and tools (TFS or JIRA, SVN or GIT) in the test team so experience within this areas is a huge advance.

You ideally have good experience with:

  • Test hardware and software (NI TestStand / NI LabVIEW)
  • Functional (and structural PCBA) test techniques for PCBAs, modules and instruments
  • Production equipment, support and maintenance in general
  • General test techniques (LV FPGA, Vision, Boundry Scan, Flying Probe and more)
  • Office 365 work and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Planner)
  • Since FOSS is a global organization, and since you will be writing documentation and descriptions in English, it is important that you have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.

Personal skills
You work in a systematic and structured way, and you thrive on solving complex technical and practical problems.

People describe you as proactive and able to seek out the necessary information for your projects as well as follow through the projects. Furthermore, you are a team player and you are good at communicating your knowledge and ideas.

An international and dynamic working environment, where there are good opportunities to develop professionally and personally. At FOSS, we put the employees and the quality of cooperation highly.
