We are looking for an experienced Test Solutions Architect for an exciting and technically challenging position in our R&D test team. You will be based at our fast growing headquarters, and part of our R&D Services organization. If that sounds like something you would like to get out of bed for every Monday morning, then read on.

The job 
The test team is a central part of the R&D Services organization with a vision to develop, maintain and support the organization with high quality state of the art production test equipment. You will be working in an interesting and interdisciplinary department with 12 specialists within the fields of test solutions, electronics, software, mechanics, optics, laser, X-ray and chemistry. 

In this position, you will be part of the strategic test platform core team that analyze, define, design and implement the next generations of scalable test frameworks and test platforms for PCBA, module and instrument test at FOSS.  

Together with the test team you are involved in R&D projects getting the needed deliveries and passing the different gates in the development process. 

Primary task 
As Test Solutions Architect your primary focus will be implementing the test strategy for the next generation of test platforms into viable, modular and flexible test solutions. You will use your technical and architectural skills to analyze, define, implement and release new versions of test platforms based on NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW. 

Furthermore, you will be involved in designing, programming, run-in and handover product test solutions, and prepare descriptions of user manuals in English for production in Hillerød and China. 

Qualifications
You hold a relevant degree, for example as Electronic Engineer, Software Engineer or similar with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within production test, test software and test hardware. This job requires knowledge of all three disciplines.  

Solid experience with NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW is a prerequisite (architecture level). 

You ideally have good experience with: 

  • Test hardware 
  • LabVIEW RT/FPGA & LVOOP 
  • C++/.NET 
  • Agile development processes and project management 
  • Production systems 
  • Databases 

It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of low volume production test and HALT/HASS testing methods. 

Since FOSS is a global organization, and as you will be writing documentation and descriptions in English, it is important that you have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
