About the job
Our service team provides technical support and service to our Decanter solutions.
We work within the Drilling, Oil&Gas, Inorganic Chemicals, Power, Mining & Minerals, Steel, Pulp & Paper industries.

We are expanding our team with a Decanter Test Engineer and you will be one of our technical experts in relation to customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute technical service for Installation, commissioning & troubleshooting
  • Technical support (incl troubleshooting & failure investigations) - helpdesk & direct
  • Provide field input to product & services development
  • Participate in development of repair methods and technical instructions
  • Participate in training session both internally & externally
  • Test pool management & maintenance
  • Coordinator for lab testing on customer’s samples
  • Site survey 

The position is based in Copenhagen, but up to 100 travel days a year must be expected – some also with a short notice.

Who you are
You are analytical by nature, have an eye for details and are motivated by finding solutions.
You are persistent, maintain perspective and remain composed in stressful situations.
You are good at networking, create strong relations to both customers and colleagues and enjoy conveying your knowledge and training others.

What you know
You have an Engineering background or similar, and you have substantial technical flair based on several years of practical hands-on experience.
You have experience from working in heavy industries and good mechanical and electrical knowledge of rotating equipment - decanter centrifuge experience is an advantage.
Further, you must be fluent in oral and written English. Knowing any of the Scandinavian languages would be an advantage.

Your health is generally good, and you must be able to pass the medical examination for working offshore.
