Job description
We are looking for a Test Design Engineer to strengthen the development- and maintenance- of our electronics- and acoustic- production test systems.

In this job, you will be handling all aspects of the manufacturing test design - from thinking test into the product design during product development and test validation, documentation, and maintenance. You will develop test methods, design hardware, program test sequences, install software and you will interface closely with the product design engineers during product development to define- and implement- the best possible test strategies. You will play a large role in implementing our test systems in a data management system to control changes and surveillance of test data. We are working with Labview and National Instruments TestStand so it is essential that you are a superuser of those systems.

As a Test Design Engineer, you will work in cross-functional project groups with both internal- and external partners to design the test systems and to secure implementation and maintenance at our external manufacturing sites around the world. Some travelling should be expected.

Technical Skills and Competences

To succeed in the job, you most likely hold an Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering or being an Electronic technician with several years of experience with test systems.

Furthermore, you:

  • Are experienced in using National instruments TestStand
  • Have experience in design of electronics to support testing and programmed test equipment yourself.
  • Have experience in test design and production testing for electronics and acoustic products
  • Have implemented test equipment for manufacturing environment and know how to optimally balance theory and practice.
  • Have ability to positively influence and build relationships with team members, internal as external.
  • Hold a drivers’ licence and have access to a car.
