Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup is looking for a new colleague who wants to be at the edge of innovation and bring beyond state-of-the art nanomaterials, formulations and digital thin film manufacturing technologies to the European industry. You will be a key player in developing and driving our commercial business within nanomaterials and digital manufacturing processes for embedded and printed electronics.

As a consultant with DTI you will be part of a leading European consortium, aimed at building a sustainable commercial service that will support European industry with services and pilot lines within embedded and printed electronics. We develop and produce novel nanomaterials and nano-enabled inks for cost-effective production of embedded and printed electronics.

You will be the main connection between our innovative work and the European industry. Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Tracking down and visiting industrial leads, paving the path for innovation, commercial projects and commercial sales.
  • Mapping industrial needs and taking part in developing business plans and sales strategies based on our core expertise. 
  • Overseeing our outreach and sales activities, through development of websites, press releases, social media, participation in exhibitions and brokerage meetings and much more.

You will get a challenging job in a varied and diverse environment where you take part in driving the development. Our goal is to collaborate directly with European industry, to map their needs and to support them with beyond state-of-the art technologies, materials and production processes.

Experience with electronics, project leading and sales
You have a master’s degree, perhaps also a Ph.D. in engineering, electrical or applied physics. You have experience within the electronics industry and have excellent networking and communication skills. You are a strong project leader and have a track record of creating strong customer relations. Furthermore, you are positive, energetic and driven. You enjoy developing new ideas and initiatives, both individually and in teams.

Nano Production and Micro Analysis
You will join a team of 30 people in the center for Nano Production and Micro Analysis who work on projects within advanced energy systems, catalysis and printed electronics. Additionally, we solve micro analytical tasks for commercial customers.

We are an international team of primarily chemists and physicists and we collaborate with both universities and international companies. We value professional competences and social interaction.
