Your challenges
In close collaboration with your team, you will be a part of daily tests and analysis related to the development of the future VELUX roof light windows. Your main responsibility will be to guide the team, coordinate tasks and secure a top integrated collaboration with product development and other development teams, but you will also get the opportunity to concentrate on various professional challenges.

We mainly work with energy and climate issues related to building components e.g. U-values, acoustics, fire, mechanical test, sun simulation etc. as well as safety issues.

Besides your role as team manager, your additional tasks will be to

• Plan and conduct laboratory tests
• Analyse and report results
• Design, validate and implement test methods and equipment
• Be first point of contact to internal and external stake holders

You will be based at our international test centre in Østbirk close to Horsens, Denmark, and the E45 motorway. There will only be limited travel activities.

Your qualifications
We imagine that you have a degree as Master of Engineering or an equivalent longer technical education with some years of experience within building physics, simulation or data processing. 
Your strong points are your solid technical foundation, your ability to work in practice and your analytical approach. Preferably you have experience within design of experiment (DOE) or similar.

You have an analytical and structured approach to task solving with a good eye for details and the ability to work independently as well as in teams. You can easily comprehend complex problems/issues and disseminate information to others who do not have your technical knowledge.

You are motivated by making a difference in a professional yet informal environment. Competencies such as excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as fluency in English is necessary since you will engage with stakeholders from different parts of our organisation and external partners.
