In this position, we expect you to solve quality and performance issues. Your daily tasks will be diverse, and will typically span from root cause analysis of deviations in the measuring performance, updating and improving the measuring chain as well as validating the implemented changes.

Tasks are typically driven as smaller projects together with your colleagues in the Product Engineering team, or with specialists if needed. You will be expected to coordinate with external suppliers as well as our own Production. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications
The preferred candidate holds a Master’s degree within optics, physics, or physical chemistry, possibly with a PhD degree and has good analytical skills.

It is a requirement that you have a Danish work permit to apply for the job, and it is considered an advantage to write and speak Danish.

It is considered an advantage to have a multidisciplinary background and have experience in using Matlab or similar tools.

Personal skills
The preferred candidate has a structured approach and enjoys complex problem-solving.

You thrive with taking on challenging tasks under time pressure if a customer is waiting or if production needs a fast solution.

You are self-driven and have a natural curiosity of learning new things. It is important that you see solutions when looking at problems.

You are talented at building strong working relationships and at working with many different people. We picture you as a team player with a good sense of humour.

We offer
FOSS offers an interesting job in a dynamic work environment in an international atmosphere with a high focus on innovation and customer experience. You will work in a flat organisation with a high degree of cooperation across all departments.

At FOSS, we value our employees. Cooperation based on confidence, straightforward communication and clear objectives gives job satisfaction and good colleagues. We wish to motivate our employees to take responsibility and influence their own work situation.
