Here’s what the job entails

In this role, your primary responsibility is solving issues within the data framework and maintaining our data framework’s production environment. Over time, you will gain extensive knowledge about data pipelines, end-to-end development and collaborate widely across the business and with external data providers.

Concretely, your areas of responsibility will be to:

  • collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and task execution
  • monitor our systems and address issues before they escalate into errors

The team

Meet the team

As our new junior data engineer, you will join our Data Operations team, responsible for ensuring the business receives the necessary data. This involves maintaining data integrity and stability as well as managing the production environment.

You will join a team of six with diverse backgrounds in engineering, data science, cognitive science, and business intelligence. United by a common goal, we strive to provide exceptional support to our stakeholders. We are a social team that values spending time together, both within our small team and with the broader Technology unit.

As a team we make a difference to the organisation, supporting them on day-to-day data issues. Whether you have experience in the field or not, we will ensure that you develop great data engineering skills.
