Novo Nordisk is seeking a Student Assistant for our Data Management & Analytics department. Data Management & Analytics responsible for a broad range of data management and data analytics tasks supporting Novo Nordisk. You will be part of the Novo Nordisk Global IT organisation with more than 1,000 engaged colleagues globally.

 

The right candidate will be part of an ambitious, globally oriented team who strives to deliver world class data management and analytics platform to our colleagues across analytics functions in Novo Nordisk. Our department is anchored in Bagsværd and consist of 7 employees who develop and manage an AWS platform, build and maintain data pipelines using various tools, and delivering analytics solutions to Novo Nordisk functions across the globe. We seek a skilled and engaged Student Assistant who is passionate about working with data and analytics for a position that will be supporting our journey on providing the best tools and data for analytics.  

 

The position

As Student Assistant you will work with our AWS platform to develop, deploy and maintain data pipes which will deliver transformed data to our business units across Novo Nordisk. You will be collaborating with other data engineers to extract, clean, transform and visualize data. Furthermore, you will work on projects to support implementation of solutions using advanced analytics, machine learning or NLP tools and algorithms, delivered and deployed on our AWS platform. In your role you will be working using the Agile methodology for developing and delivering data and analytics products.

 

Qualifications

You are currently enrolled on your first or second year of your master’s degree in information technology, engineering, economy or similar. You have proven excellent results from your studies.

 

You have a good understanding of data modelling, data cleansing, data visualisation, programming or statistical models. Perhaps you have experience working with AWS platform and know tools such as SQL, Python, R, Alteryx or Tableau or see yourself as a fast learner with a solution and mind set.

You have a key interest in working with data to insights for the line of business to take relevant action on. You have solid language skills in English and strong communication skills written and verbally. You are outgoing, structured and see yourself as an executer who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality in your deliverables.

 

You enjoy building new solutions for your customers and you take a pride in helping your colleagues across various functions in a global oriented business. You deliver solutions when they are needed and enjoy working in an informal atmosphere where flexibility and responsibility goes hand in hand.
