Student Assistant for developing our wind farm geodata and measurement database

Do you want to kick-start your career by contributing to the development of our new wind farms?  
 
Join us and become Student Assistant in the Offshore Wind Power Wind Farm department where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. You’ll develop and maintain some of our most strategic systems handling geodata and measurement data. Together with experienced analysts and engineers, you’ll ensure updating of metadata, schedule reporting, handle ad hoc data deliveries for operation and handle communication with our internal IT department. You’ll work on new projects and will gain insights into new markets and developments, and you’ll also support the maintenance of our more than 1,000 wind turbines already installed.  
 
In our department, we design our future wind farms. In this process, we use a large amount of geodata and measurement (wind, wave, current, etc.) data. Our department, which is located in London, Skærbæk and Gentofte, consists of an international team with more than 10 nationalities. 
 
Your key tasks will be to  

  • set up new data flow for new wind farms 
  • quality assure our data and set up automated QA processes 
  • deliver standard data packages/reporting  
  • manage and schedule tasks in ArcGIS Pro and Apps in ArcGIS Portal 
  • develop reporting overviews in Power BI, ArcGIS and tableau.  

 
Furthermore, you’ll update master data tables based on new project/asset information. 
 
Your competences include that you  

  • are currently studying engineering and/or IT, have data handling and database competences and have at least two years left before graduating 
  • have knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop, MS Azure, Tableau and Power BI 
  • preferably have worked with GIS, geodata and/or measurement data 
  • are proactive, systematic and solution-oriented 
  • like challenges and dare to propose new solutions.  

Furthermore, you speak and write English fluently.
