Do you want to share your excellent software engineering skills with us? Does the idea of an innovative and exciting job with the possibility of flexible or reduced working hours appeal to you? And do you want to join a growing and successful MedTech company? Then your new career could be with Ambu as a Software Test Engineer.
Ambu develops, manufactures and sells medical devices. Millions of patients and healthcare professionals depend on the functionality and performance of Ambu’s products worldwide. Ambu wants to be first in line in delivering new and innovative devices, which rethink existing processes and combine several technologies. We are looking for a Software Test Engineer for our Test and Verification team who can participate in shaping the future success of Ambu.
We offer a challenging position located at our headquarters in Ballerup where you will participate in securing our ongoing dedication to quality products. You will be part of an effective innovation culture with a tradition of fast completion of projects, which means that there will be a visible link between your results and Ambu’s growth.
We value a healthy work/life balance at Ambu, where there can be a possibility for flexible working hours, and in this role, you may also choose to have reduced working hours if this is better suited for you.
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our monitor development projects from early development to final verification testing. You will be responsible for writing test scripts and test protocols as well as performing the actual testing as a member of a Scrum team. You will hereby play an important role in ensuring that we deliver high quality products, and in ensuring that we are shaping the best possible solutions to benefit our patients. A high level of technical know-how regarding computing, computers and hardware is required.
We work in a very collaborative and agile environment, where open and honest discussions are an integral part of the way we solve complex problems. Working experience with writing test cases, test reports and reviewing of product requirements in a regulated industry is a plus. Experience with coding of high-level language and with using scripts for automated testing, API interfaces, automated testing of GUI’s or similar will be regarded positively. Experience as a Scrum team member is also welcomed, but not a prerequisite.
We imagine that you hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or similar. Preferably, you have some years of professional experience in software testing or development. You are eager to learn and share your knowledge. You are good at communicating and presenting your ideas, and you are proficient in English, both written and verbal.
