Software Project Leader with an agile mind-set

The area
In the role as Software Project Leader, you will become a pivotal part of the R&D unit Software Solutions (SWS), with development teams in both Denmark and Poland. In SWS, we are developing software for desktop, mobile and cloud solutions enabling our customers to get the most benefit out of our hearing aids.

The job
In your role as Software Project Leader, your main responsibilities will be to manage projects across SWS including managing multiple deliveries to and from the projects. An important aspect of the job is to bridge between our agile software development teams in SWS lead by product owners and large milestone driven product programs responsible for all aspects of hearing instrument development.

Main responsibilities:

  • Establish close cooperation with product owners and other project leaders
  • Set the direction for the project and deliver project milestones on time
  • Drive the process of defining the project scope in close cooperation with product owners
  • Secure allocation of capacity and planning of new feature development
  • Align plans and integration with a range of other projects, all delivering into same product program
  • Secure timely deliverables for your project from several sources, e.g. development teams, marketing and quality assurance
  • Drive the integration and quality assurance of the product delivered
  • Responsible for delivery of all documentation needed for regulatory authorities like FDA
  • Ensure professional release and deployment to our customers worldwide

You will work in close collaboration with R&D managers, requirement managers, test managers, product managers, product owners and other project managers. Overall, you can look forward to work in a growing agile setup with a wide range of challenging tasks.

Personal qualifications
We expect you to hold a BSc or an MSc in Engineering or Business; and have at least 5-10 years of experience in managing highly complex software development projects, with a high degree of stakeholder management. Furthermore, you should bring a large toolbox of project management tools that you thrive to implement in your projects. It will be an advantage if you hold practical experiences within agile development methodologies.

With your strong decision-making skills and eagerness to take on responsibility, you are able to understand the importance of tasks in order to secure that priorities are according to the business strategy and goals.

You are a strong communicator as a lot of your time will be spend managing stakeholders at a high level. You are a team player and motivator and you strive for achieving your goals within the given time with the resources available while maintaining high quality work. You are structured and you thrive working with standard procedures and good documentation practices.

You are fluent in both spoken and written English, which is the corporate language.
