BK Medical is looking for a machine learning specialist to design applications and algorithms for intraoperative ultrasound imaging. You will be working on solutions for diagnostic decision support, image interpretation and co registration between intra operative ultrasound and pre-operative imaging. The role will also drive requirements on the system design to facilitate for data collection, machine learning and inference. You will also be expected to take on a technical leadership role for a small team of software engineers during the implementation of algorithms on the ultrasound system platform.

The job
Machine learning, and artificial intelligence will have a transformative effect on the intraoperative ultrasound market as these technologies addresses some of the key limitations associated with ultrasound; namely, to provide perceived image quality equal to magnetic resonance imaging and automation to streamline surgical workflow to let the surgeon focus on the treatment and create a transparent and intuitive ultrasound imaging experience.
You will stand front and center in this transformation and make sure that BK Medical stays in front of the competition in intraoperative ultrasound imaging. In this role, you will be able to shape the future of BK Medical in the context of machine learning.
