This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global Engineering team as Senior Project Manager of the establishment of high scale human milk oligosaccharides (HMO) production in Kalundborg. Global Engineering in Chr. Hansen is an organization of approximately 85 people responsible of implementing CAPEX business initiatives across our global production sites.
With this role, you will specifically be responsible of the project management of major multidisciplinary CAPEX projects planned at our recently acquired site in Kalundborg.
What would your role look like?
As Senior Project Manager in the HMO Program you will be overall responsible for project execution and hereby realization of our plans to transform site Kalundborg into a high scale biotech production facility. This transformation requires execution of a series of major CAPEX projects during the coming years.
Further, the role includes these overall responsibilities:
- Project management of strategic investment projects at Chr. Hansen HMO production facilities (primarily Kalundborg)
- Management of all involved parties (internal and external), contractors and consultants in own projects
- Contract management (FIDIC) in relation to suppliers, contractors and consultants
- Planning, budgets, estimating and reporting including timely project status updates, stakeholder information, budget estimates, risk assessments, variation handling, etc.
- Overall project management of all involved disciplinary groups such as process engineering, civil, automation, quality amongst other.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong project management experience. This preferably with extensive experience within upstream/downstream equipment and installations from bioscience or pharma industries. You also have experience with contract management of supply and/or consultancy contracts and a BSc. or MSc. in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical), or similar background.
Personally, you are a strong decision maker, negotiator and executer. You also have a strong planning and organizing skill set as well as excellent stakeholder management skills.
