Are you an experienced specialist within SCADA and capable of holistic thinking and professional inter-cultural excellence?

Join us and become SCADA Lead Specialist for US in the SCADA SCS & Metering department where you’ll be responsible for aligning and linking the US and EU SCADA design in an effective and compliant way according to the SCADA globalisation strategy. You’ll also be responsible for US-compliant design solutions from SCADA in alignment with the product line.

The SCADA SCS & Metering department is responsible for the design engineering and testing of the SCS and Metering systems necessary for operating a windfarm.

Your key tasks will be to

  • ensure compliance in the US asset projects with NERC-CIP and local legislation relevant for the SCADA and offshore communication design
  • embrace the role as the SCADA go-to person for talks and negotiations with JV and EPC partners
  • build a SCADA hub for a locally hired SCADA team in the US for the expanding portfolio in our Group
  • be a facilitator and driver of communication and alignment between the Danish-based and coming US-based SCADA teams.

Furthermore, you’ll actively engage with the relevant local communities and authorities to ensure compliance with and acceptance of the SCADA design solutions in the US.

Your competences include that you

  • have a master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • have experience with aligning engineering across geographical distances in a strong matrix organisation
  • have a solid technical understanding and relevant experience within the wind power industry, preferably coupled with experience with SCADA and automation systems, NERC, technical risk assessment and product quality
  • have a passion for building a team and for coaching and developing talented engineers, from graduate to senior level
  • thrive in an international environment and excel in creating good relationships with your stakeholders.

Also, you speak and write English fluently and are good at explaining complex matters in a simple way.

In addition, you’re able to build strong credibility through holistic business insights and leadership. You’re robust, visible and skilled in change management, and you have a highly developed ability to foresee possible obstructions which may affect the progress. You’re dedicated to performing at a high level, and you’re able, together with your team, to deliver within deadlines.

Furthermore, you have excellent insights into the planning of engineering tasks to be performed and the impact of changes, enabling you to guide the team in a structured way. Finally, you reach out to our stakeholders and customers to ensure timely delivery with the right quality.
