In Offshore Engineering we are looking for our next Offshore Commissioning Engineer to join our offshore SCADA Project support team. 

How to contribute to our vision
As one of our offshore SCADA Commissioning Engineers, you will have a central role in our offshore SCADA projects, where you will contribute to deliver high technical solutions with a high focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be supporting in the design of the SCADA system and be responsible for installing the SCADA system onsite. This will be done by proactively cooperating with the SCADA Project Team and our customers.

You will be working closely with the internal Project team, as you together will be responsible for the development, installation and testing of the project specific SCADA system, both remotely and at onsite locations. You will also participate in the handover process from Execution Projects to Service. Finally, you will contribute with constructive input to the continuous product development and improvements for SGRE SCADA solutions. 

You will also be working with the following tasks: 

  • Create project specific documentation for our offshore SCADA systems and infrastructure communication.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute onsite installation of SCADA hardware.
  • Active support FAT-, HAT- and SAT-Tests of our offshore SCADA systems
  • Perform Support for our onsite turbine commissioning teams, work instruction creation, Ad-hoc support and troubleshooting onsite.
  • Performing SCADA training for external and internal users.
  • Be part of our offshore SCADA project support phone hotline.

In this position you can expect up to 75 travels days a year to our different execution project sites and customers.

What you need to make a difference
You will have a relevant technical education, such as electrician or automatic engineer, combined with experience in installation and testing of SCADA systems and PLC installations from the wind industry or similar would be an advantage.

You will also have experience working with IT systems as well as knowledge of Microsoft-based technologies. In addition, you should be able to provide technical support to users with very different level of experience. 

As a person, you must be a team player with a “can do” mindset. You also enjoy a busy working day where you can keep the overview of complex tasks with a customer-minded approach. You are good at creating network and have an open-minded approach towards new challenges.

You can speak and write English fluently.
