Would you like to be part of developing records management processes in a large organisation with a big professional network of Records Managers?
 
Join us and become Records Manager in the Document and Records Management department, where you will support our offshore wind farm projects with standardisation and implementation of records management processes. You will be part of our team of 21 records management colleagues working mainly in our offshore wind farm projects - both in development and execution.
 
Records Management is part of Wind Power which has 2200 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind power projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe, and we are expanding with international activities in the US and Asia-Pacific.
 
You may choose freely to be based either at our Danish office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or at alternatively at our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
 
Your key tasks will be to

  • drive the development of processes and instructions to capture documentation of assets and to ensure compliance with requirements regarding legislation and certification
  • implement structure in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) supporting our processes throughout Wind Power
  • support and train colleagues in the use of EDMS and handling of business critical records on an ongoing basis
  • liaise with colleagues across the team, department and company to secure and facilitate a smooth transfer of records from the different stages in a project’s/wind farm’s life cycle
  • ensure to capture best practice and implement it in processes.

 
Your qualifications and core competences include that you

  • have a relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree, for example in library and information science, information management, history or another relevant academic education. A professional focus on document and records management is a prerequisite
  • are an experienced user of EDMS and perhaps with web filing systems
  • have excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward way
  • speak and write English fluently
  • thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with both your colleagues and stakeholders.

 
Moreover you are an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and you have a flair for and genuine interest in learning new IT systems.
Furthermore, you have a proactive and structured approach to your work and a good sense of details. You know how to manage and prioritise your tasks and are able to work on several issues simultaneously.
