You will become a member of the Displaying Unit and Systems Engineering team located at our headquarters in Ballerup. We have full focus on developing new products and processes that combine several technologies in new and innovative ways. To succeed, you must have excellent skills and a broad experience.

Application software development
As R&D Application software developer, you are a vital player in developing and maintaining our displaying units. You will be part of our displaying unit development projects.
 
Your main responsabilities involve

  • Participating as project resource for software development with the focus on GUI development. You will also participate in writing test cases and develop test methodologies together with the verification team
  • Creating GUI design proposals together with the GUI designer and in some cases act as the sole GUI responsible
  • Writing, maintaining and controling SW documentation for Displaying Units 

You will participate in writing documentation according to FDA and ISO standards and you will act as support for the regulatory and quality assurance engineering teams within software issues. 
 
Your contact base will be broad, and you will be interfacing Ambu’s global organisation, all departments involved in product development projects and externally with subcontractors, users and knowledge centres.

In order to be successful in the job, you need to thrive in work situations with both internal and external partners where you use your outstanding interpersonal skills to ensure long-lasting and beneficial solutions. You are positive, constructive, structured, detail-oriented and you combine a proactive mind-set with the ability to plan, execute and meet deadlines. 
 
You have 3+ years software application development experience preferably including GUI design for applications and web. You know how to write specifications and create GUI design wireframes and proposals. Preferably, you are capable of developing towards the “full stack” concept.
 
Since we are a global company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration. You must be fluent in English and you can expect some travelling (approximately 20 days per year).
