Project Controller for offshore wind farm construction project

Would you like to be part of one of the leading energy companies in Europe and be responsible for cost controlling a major offshore construction project?

Join us and become Project Controller in Project Execution Controlling where you and your colleagues are responsible for cost management of our construction projects in the execution phase. This includes rolling forecasting and cost controlling of the projects. You’ll work on the assigned project during the construction phase, which lasts 2-3 years. Once the project is complete, you’ll continue on a new project in our portfolio.

Your key tasks will be to

  • proactively support project managers in their cost management tasks
  • ensure that cost management is on the agenda in an engineering setting
  • perform cost management and cost controlling in the projects
  • provide and maintain construction budgets at both detailed and aggregated level
  • coordinate input and prepare monthly project finance reports.

Furthermore, you’ll participate in establishing business processes and developing Excel and SAP BI tools for project cost control and reporting.

Your competences include that you

  • have a master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, e.g. business or engineering
  • have some years of prior experience with project controlling and experience with budgeting and accounting
  • have experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • have good communication skills and enjoy working in a cross-organisational team with team members with a technical background
  • speak and write English fluently.

It’ll be an advantage if you have prior experience from business or project controlling of large complex projects with subcontractors and experience with offshore projects. In addition, a general interest in construction, renewable energy and the energy industry will be an advantage.
