Process Engineer, Fermentation Production, Supply Operations, Kalundborg
The department consists of 50 employees and is responsible for the operation of the fermentation production in Kalundborg. We run large scale production fermenters using state of the art microorganisms to produce enzymes that are sold all over the world.
As part of the staff in the fermentation department, you will have significant influence on our performance and development. In a dynamic and sometimes hectic environment, it is our joint challenge to keep the production running in the highest gear, constantly improving processes, equipment and the way we work.
You will be responsible for keeping our processes in control, leading daily problem solving and troubleshooting. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with your colleagues in our development and optimization departments, and other production departments in Denmark as well as abroad.
In this position you need to:
- Hold an BSc/MSc. in engineering, biochemistry, microbiology or equivalent
- Be a dynamic, committed and outgoing person that communicates and cooperates well with all employee groups
- Appreciate working systematically, data based and targeted
- Experience or genuine interest in Lean and six sigma principles is required
- Be able to see the broader perspective of things, and handle many tasks at a time
- Think proactively, and have a positive approach to challenges and change
- Be fluent or willing to learn Danish
