Join us and become Intern in the Blades team in Technical Integrity Management where you’ll be responsible for analysing inspection data as well as perform failure analyses of the blades of our wind turbines. The team aims to ensure maximum turbine performance through failure analysis projects, production optimisation and turbine modifications. 

We offer an exciting internship where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. We also offer a position in a strong technical team willing to share knowledge to ensure the advances of an internship in a large cooperation. 

Your key tasks will be to 

  • perform damage evaluation of turbine blades 
  • participate in and perform failure investigation projects on turbine blades in collaboration with blade experts 
  • assist in asset integrity communication and reporting 
  • ensure correct data logging and database handling for turbine blades 
  • participate in various cross-team projects involving mechanical and structural engineering disciplines. 

Furthermore, you’ll participate in highly interesting R&D projects. The above-mentioned tasks will depend on your qualifications. 

Your competences include that you 

  • are currently studying to become a composite or mechanical engineer and have an academic or a practical background 
  • are interested in working with and learning more about offshore wind power and specifically about turbine blades and composite structures 
  • have a technical knowledge of mechanical theory – it’s considered an advantage if you’ve already passed composite or structure-related courses 
  • are able to speak and write English at a communicative level 
  • have a positive approach to your work tasks and a drive and eagerness to learn 
  • are able to focus on a specific task for a longer period of time and show good documentation skills when delivering an assignment.
