Mechanical Engineer for International Projects within Marine, Power and O&G business.

Now we want to become even better! We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to our Energy Separation Group in Copenhagen.

In our department we contribute to the business by supplying High Speed Separators (HSS) and Fresh Water Generators (FWG). The department is responsible for High Specification projects within the Marine, Power and O&G business. The Engineering and Supply (E&S) department consists of around 30 employees and is dealing with all activities from Quotations to Commissioning.

As Mechanical Engineer you will be joining our team being responsible for the projects mechanical system design and documentation.

A project includes bid/quotation support, engineering and design of equipment, specifications for procurement, inspection of engineered solutions, client documentation and technical support during commissioning.

Key tasks:

  • Support with review of customer specifications/tenders in the quotation phase
  • Execution of projects involving the design of high specification customized engineering systems
  • Engineering systems for hazardous (ATEX) as well as non-hazardous areas
  • Specifying equipment for procurement and manufacturing
  • Documentation for complete design
  • Experience with Inventor for 3D modelling will be an advantage

You will do this from our E&S function in Copenhagen and together with colleagues from other E&S sites depending on the scope of projects. Expected travelling days are approximately 20 days per year.

Who are you?
Currently you might be working with mechanical engineering in relevant industries (preferably within Oil & Gas offshore, Marine or Power plants). Your educational background is in Mechanical engineering with use of international codes and standards such as EN, ISO, ASME, NORSOK, DNV GL, Hazardous Areas (ATEX). We expect that you have min. 5-8 years relevant work experience. The work requires that you communicate fluently in written and spoken English.

As a person you are a team player, structured and organized with good communication skills and cultural awareness. You are committed to deliver the agreed projects results. You have strong influencing and organizing skills and can take the mechanical lead engineer role in a project.
