Mechanical engineer

Amminex Emissions Technology A/S is looking for a mechanical development engineer for development of components for emission reducing equipment for diesel cars, trucks and busses.

Amminex Emissions Technology A/S is a Copenhagen based clean tech company with a new and unique technology and solution for automotive emissions control. The technology, the Ammonia Storage and Delivery System (ASDS) dramatically reduce the amount of NOx released by diesel vehicles with SCR catalysts, which is a focus area for the automotive industry today.

You will be working in a very competent R&D team and with international customers and collaborators. The environment is informal with focus on collaboration and getting products and projects to the finishing line on time. You will work on finalizing development of existing product lines as well as developing new products for OEM and retrofit customers.

Work areas
Mechanical design and concept creation, based on requirements for cost and performance, including sheet metal forming, welding, calculations and dimensioning.
Finding and working with suppliers to ensure the best solution at low cost and high quality.
Performing risk analysis (FMEA) and test definition.
Support internal process development and transfer to production (BOM and instructions).    

Qualifications
You have a technical or engineering degree in mechanics, mechatronics, or similar, with experience in product design and design for cost. Some years of hands-on experience with several of the above tasks and good skills with 3D CAD (solid works) are required. You possess a good mechanical intuition and technical insight. Automotive experience and experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP) will be an advantage.
