If that sounds like something you would like to get out of bed for every Monday morning, then read on.

R&D at FOSS - A history of pioneering inventions
Do you want to take the FOSS R&D organization to a higher level? You will join an innovative and passionate R&D team with a global purpose. Our R&D department currently consists of more than 300 employees located at several R&D hubs around the globe. FOSS is on a steep growth trajectory these years, and our department is set to expand significantly over the coming period - a process you will be a part of. Our R&D teams have a legacy of more than 100 patents and 20 world’s first solutions, as well as a very exciting pipeline of development projects up for launch within the coming years. It is simple, we provide industry leading solutions to industry leading customers.

The job
We are looking for a talented Lead Electronics Engineer, to take on an exciting and technically challenging position and join the Product Development team in our R&D department. You will be part of our Grain, Milling and Oils segment, where we are dealing with sophisticated technology, flow systems and mechanical features based on state of the art electronics and optics.

You will be working in a project team together with many other specialists from mechanical, electrical, optical and chemical fields. We are all focusing on developing and integrating new technology into analytical solutions and instruments for our global customers.

As lead electronic engineer, your main tasks will be to take a technical and development lead on the electrical part of our product development, spanning from system design, electronics, circuit design, simulation, VHDL programming, test to trouble shooting interfaces to optics and mechanics. Tasks thus often require a coordinated effort across the organization, and you will get to work with many different teams and colleagues. The job is located at our R&D Innovation Centre at Nils Foss Allé in Hillerød, Denmark.

About you
We expect your educational background to be at Master or Bachelor level in electronics en-gineering, and have huge experience within the following fields:

  • Design of analog circuits (filters, amplifier and A/D circuits)
  • Design of electro-mechanical driver circuits for motors, solenoids, valves etc.
  • Design of DC-DC power supplies
  • Design of digital electronics (µc and FPGA circuits)
  • VHDL programming of Xilinx FPGA
  • Orcad Capture and Pspice
  • EMC correct instrument and PCB design

If you have previously worked with other disciplines, it will be considered an advantage (e.g PCB layout, mechanics, optics, light, ESW, EMC testing, or electro mechanical interfaces.)

To be successful in this role, you need talent for working in teams and for building relationships with many different people and cultures - we picture you as a true team player with a good sense of humor. You are able to plan your own time, take technical lead and coordi-nate tasks within the projects. This means that you are good at keeping an overview and handling changes and that you thrive with many different types of tasks, including hands-on work like using a soldering iron. Since FOSS is a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both Danish and English.

We offer
We offer a challenging job in an international, innovative and highly successful company. We are market leaders within our field and very proud of the results we deliver. Our work is based on trust and working in teams, and you can expect to enter a great working place, where work-life balance and flexibility are valued and where you can bring your ideas to the table and make a real difference. At FOSS, we value our employees and believe in coopera-tion, in straightforward communication and in setting clear objectives to achieve our goals.
