Junior Developer (student) with focus on Web-Scraping and Data Integration

About the Position
We seek a part-time student/junior developer to help us build and maintain our web-crawling infrastructure and improve our data integration processes. You will be part of a small team of dedicated people, ensuring our systems run optimally and efficiently. The job requires you to be good at working independently with your tasks while being open to collaborating with colleagues with other skill sets and areas of expertise. You’ll be part of Copenhagen Capacity’s Marketing Team and work closely with our other junior developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain crawlers: Build and optimise web-crawling solutions.
- Maintain and develop crawler setup: Ensure our web-scraping platform is stable and efficient.
- Maintain and improve server: Monitor and improve our server infrastructure.
- Develop more robust error handling: Implement advanced error handling solutions to improve system reliability.
- Work on various data integrations to support our business needs, e.g. with data representation.
Your profile
You are currently studying computer science, software engineering, it programming or similar. You are a motivated and focused colleague. You’re eager to learn new things and ready to take ownership of your work tasks while working closely with your team members.
Required Skills:
- Python
- PostgreSQL (or another SQL database)
- Linux (basic usage)
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Good oral and written English skills
Preferred Skills:
- Django (or another Python web-framework like Flask)
- Experience with web-scraping
- Experience with Playwright framework
- Web server setup
- Experience with HubSpot
We Offer
A part-time junior developer job: 8-12 hours per week, with the opportunities to develop professionally and personally. We’ll agree on a work schedule that fits your studies, and we are open to a mix of remote and in-office work. Our offices are in the city center of Copenhagen, Denmark.
You’ll join Copenhagen Capacity’s tight-knit, passionate and caring marketing team with six lovely colleagues and work in a multinational organisation and work culture where the “office language” is English.
