Ramboll is in the early days of an exciting Procurement Transformation program to deliver financial and process efficiencies across all external spend categories. We are looking for a dynamic and skilled sourcing manager who has experience within the Software Category and is familiar with the Procure-to-Pay process. Your Responsibilities as SW and Technology Procurement Manager
You will be responsible for all phases of sourcing that require the skills necessary to identify cost saving opportunities, negotiate and generate contracts. In addition, you will have an ability to influence and motivate key internal stakeholders and collaborate with corresponding departments to achieve overall project goals and to have active role as a change ambassador within the organization. Support of Supplier Relationship Management strategies to enhance Ramboll’s business aims and processes is also part of your key tasks.

In this role, you will work closely with a more senior SW and Technology Category Manager who is responsible for developing and executing a strategic procurement roadmap for all categories related to SW tools and technology.

Your core tasks will be

  • Participation with in the team to the development and driving of the SW Procurement strategy in collaboration with key functional stakeholders
  • Active contributing role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing procurement systems and processes to facilitate transparency of spend and speed to savings
  • Conduct tenders and negotiations (together with our IT and Legal team), handle agreements and ensure appropriate KPI and contract management is in place to secure the most optimal terms and pricing for Ramboll, while maintaining a focus on developing sustainable and ethical suppliers
  • Support the overall development of the Global Procurement function

Some travel activity should be expected to other countries where Procurement provides support to Ramboll's business units.

You will be based at our headquarters either in Copenhagen (Denmark) or Southampton or Birmingham (UK).

This is a fulltime position and is to be filled as soon as possible.

You and your competencies
You hold a relevant Bachelor or Master level degree, supplemented by minimum two years sourcing experience, preferably in an international company. You have a good understanding of software contract and license models and understand the software lifecycle. Experience with license negotiations is a must.

You are a Procurement specialist, with strong Project Management skills and a focus on Process Optimization. You support this with strong Communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. You have solid Planning and Negotiation experience, and a desire to support the organization in developing these skills.

Furthermore, you are assertive, and with a willingness and ability to produce results in a relatively complex and international organization. Your open and engaged approach means that you thrive in an informal and solution-oriented environment, characterized by growth and change.

You should also be able to

  • Work in a structured manner, while handling multiple projects.
  • Provide analysis of issues and figures and translate these into concrete change proposals.
  • Communicate fluently in English (corporate language). Proficiency in Danish is a benefit.
  • Use core MS Office applications at an appropriate level. Emphasis is laid on Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.

Strategic procurement and process optimization

You will become part of a Global Procurement team along with 6 dedicated colleagues.  

The team was set-up at the beginning of 2016 to deliver sustainable goods and services of an appropriate quality and price to Ramboll globally.
