The position
During your internship you will mainly work with a newly established 2D LC-MS (QTOF) equipment in the department. You will participate in developing analytical methods, processing data and building a 2D LC-MS platform. You will help establishing an efficient workflow around the 2D LC-MS including guidance writing. You will gain a lot of hands-on experience with 2D LC-MS equipment and software, and you will have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders. You will be part of a team with skilled colleagues supporting the development projects within analysis and characterisation of peptides/proteins.

  • Internship period: 3-6 months
  • Working hours: Flexible (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
  • Start date: 01. September.2021
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications
You are studying a Master Science program in chemistry, chemical engineering or other relevant scientific discipline with the following skills:

  • You are passionate about analytical chemistry and familiar with the principles of mass spectrometry. Experience with LC-MS is a great advantage
  • You have a positive mind-set and enjoy working together with other people to make things happen
  • You bring curiosity, new ideas and initiative into the work
  • You have a flair for IT
  • Interest in software and data handling is an advantage

About the department
The department CMC Analytical Development is part of CMC Drug Product Development in R&D. The department is responsible for a broad and exciting range of analytical methods and technologies supporting the development and production of new drug candidates. We are involved in the entire Novo Nordisk development project portfolio covering both diabetes and biopharma projects - from late discovery to product launch.
